Well i was looking for that too, who does what damage. And here's a thing. All champs (i might be wrong about that, if there're any exceptions please correct) deal physical damage with auto-attacks (aa is when you r-click), even mages. But most champs deal magical damage with abilities. If they don't then it's stated in skill description if skill is scaling with Attack Damage instead of Ability Power. It means that more AD or AP you get (depends on skill) the more damage you will deal with that skill. Basically, you find a lot of melee champions that deal massive magic damage because their skills scales with AP, Sion or Katarina for example. Some champs get stronger skills with AD, like Urgot, Pantheon or Jarvan (but not all of their skills scale with AD). So for example you can build Sion the way of AD so he will be depended on auto attacks and will be basically a dps or you can build Sion the AP way so he will deal some nice burst damage and will be depended on his abilities. Same goes for Teemo or Kog'Maw for example, great champs to build both AD or AP. PS. more AD means stronger auto attack. hint. press and hold TAB key to see enemy champ items, it can suggest you what damage will it deal most.

Introduction
Hello, I'm Voidlord1 and this is my Sion Jungle guide! I am a Sion fanatic and have been jungling with him almost constantly throughout season 6 and 7, and these are the items, runes, and masteries that I find most effective on him in the jungler role, along with how I play him as a jungler. If you have any questions, anything you want to tell me, and/or any improvements you think I should make in my chapters, feel free to leave a comment!
Runes
The runes that I chose give you nice scaling on your Q early, scaling cdr so you can ult and use abilities more often, good defense for early game jungle, and hybrid pen. to get some your mixed damage past defenses.
Masteries
The masteries I chose give you good survivability early in the jungle, good stats for Sion's abilities and in situations that he is usually put into, and some good kill potential. I use the Courage of the Colossus as the keystone for Sion. The benefits of this keystone are just too good to put down. Getting a massive shield when you start a teamfight with your ult is honestly the best thing you can ask for.
Jungle Clearing and Routes
Red Side (Blue buff near your Bot Lane): Blue Buff -> Gromp (Smite) -> Wolves -> Red Buff (Smite) -> Scuttle/Possible Gank Mid/Top -> Krugs -> Raptors On this side of the map, you get a leash and start the Blue buff camp off with a full charge from your Q. Do not smite it. After getting through your blue buff side clear and acquiring your red buff, look for possibilities to gank mid or top. If you find none, look for scuttlecrab in the top river, finish your red side clear, then recall. Blue Side (Red buff near your Bot Lane): Red Buff -> Krugs -> Raptors -> Blue Buff -> Possible Gank -> Gromp -> Wolves On this side of the map, get a leash and start off the Red buff camp with a fully charged Q. Do not smite it. After finishing your red buff side clear and acquiring your Blue buff, look for possibilities to gank mid or top.
Jungle Clear Tips and Tricks
1. Always start off a jungle camp with a full Q charge, so you can deal a ton of damage and stun the camp without taking any damage 2. Your E can stun minions and jungle monsters if they hit a wall, so make sure to use it on the large monster of each camp. 3. While you are about to start a camp by charging your Q, use your W. This way you can blow it up before the damage from the camp can get rid of it for some good aoe percent health damage.
Ganking
Pre-6: 1. Walk into the lane you are ganking 2. Attempt to slow one of the enemy champions with your E 3. Charge a Q for one second, the reactivate it to get a quicker stun 4. Use your W for damage/damage absorbing based on how low you are Post 6: 1. Ult into the lane you are ganking, starting from a little further up the lane 2. If you manage to stun anyone with your ult, charge your Q and W immediately. Only charge your Q for one second however so you can provide a long cc chain without giving them a chance to flash away or escape with an ability. Also reactivate your W the second you are able to for even more damage. If you realize you won't hit anyone with your ult, get as close to them as possible, then reactivate it and attempt the combo mentioned earlier in this step 3. If anyone survives this initial burst from you and whatever damage your laners provide, attempt to E the enemy laner that is trying to escape, then chilling smite them to crush their hopes of escaping
Combos
1. Standard Sion Damage Combo on Champions: E -> chilling smite -> Activate W -> Q (charge until they almost leave range, then reactivate -> Reactivate W after taking a hit or two (or if you know you have the upper hand) -> auto attack -> Titanic Hydra Active after your previous auto deals damage 2. Jungle Clear Combo: Start Q -> Activate W -> Full Q -> Reactivate W -> E as soon as the stun wears off 3. Gank Combo: Start Ult -> Activate W when you are about to hit someone -> Land Ult -> Q for 1 second -> Reactivate W -> E -> auto -> Titanic Hydra Active after your previous auto deals damage -> chilling smite 4. Kill Combo: E -> chilling smite -> Start Q -> Activate W -> Reactivate Q after waiting until they are about to leave range -> Ult -> Reactivate W -> auto -> Titanic Hydra Active after your previous auto deals damage 5. Teamfight Combo: Start Ult -> Activate W when you are about to hit someone -> Land Ult -> Q for 1 second -> Reactivate W -> E -> auto nearest carry-> Titanic Hydra Active after your previous auto deals damage -> chilling smite a squishy
Starting Teamfights
You, being Sion, have one of the best team fight initiator ults in the game. When both teams are grouped up and waiting for someone to make a move, ult into the enemy team to stun as many people as possible, use your W as your ult is moving so you can reactivate it earlier to dish out more damage to their team, and charge your Q for one second and reactivate it. This will give your team plenty of time to react and start pumping their own damage on the enemy. If the enemy team survives this and are trying to escape, E and chilling smite the closest enemy champion. However, if the enemy team gets the upper hand, E and chilling smite approaching enemy champions to save your surviving teammates and yourself. Tips During Teamfights:

What Type Of Dmg Does Sion Doctor
1. Being a massive tank with some good killing potential makes you very dangerous and intimidating. After your initial Teamfight Combo, go to ham on their back line. This will enable you to distract their carries and keep them off your team, and you might even kill one of them. This allows the rest of your team a LOT of breathing room, and they will take a lot less damage. This usually leads your team to win fights. 2. If you die during teamfights, it isn't the end of the world. You get to make use of your awesome passive. Once your passive activates, go to the nearest carry and auto as much as possible. If they are really close to you when your passive triggers, save your Death Surge movement speed bonus for when they try to escape or outrun you. If they do escape you, and your passive is still up, attack the nearest enemy champion. Sometimes this can turn fights around in your team's favor.
